This model of 'The Maul' by Arthurian airsoft has been fully upgraded with some of the best internals on the market all in one complete build. The parts installed and supplied with this package make it a mean CQB monster. It fires at 25 rounds per second with an FPS of 328 on the dot. But what parts are inside? Well, this build has been fitted with the following:

This build also comes with 1x Oper8 11.1v 1500mAh crane stock battery and 1x PTS EPM magazine (150 rounds)   The Arthurian Airsoft Maul is one mean looking gun. A great choice for those of you after a short gun with plenty of option for attachments. The Maul is the ideal CQB M4, it has a short fully railed handguard for attaching grips, torches and other items. The top of the receiver is also railed for attaching sights, to help with aiming. The Maul comes with flip-up iron sights and the rear one is adjustable. If you pull the charging handle you will open the dust cover and lock back the false bolt. This will then allow you to adjust the hop unit. When done adjusting the hop unit you press the bolt release catch on the left side and it will release the false bolt. The stock is adjustable for different sizes and can be removed by undoing a castle knut to let you access the quick change spring system and easily change the spring when required. There is also a sling mounting plate at the rear of the receiver that allows you to easily attach a sling. You get good range and accuracy from The Maul as well as good trigger response and rate of fire. Running off a 7.4v Lipo will give you great performance out on the field. Combined with the short length, it makes a great CQB M4 or a short weapon for all-round use. All the Arthurian Airsoft rifles have been upgraded internally with a reinforced tappet plate, 15 metal tooth piston and 8mm bearing to give you better performance.

2021 Model

The 2021 model Excalibur rifles now feature an inbuilt MOSFET into the trigger board and a rotary hop unit. MOSFETs help protect the trigger contacts from being burnt out when using 7.4v or 11.1v LiPo batteries, increases the efficiency of the battery allowing for more shots per charge and increase the overall performance of the gearbox with a slight increase rate of fire and snappier trigger response. The rotary hop unit improves the stability of the hop and negates any chance of it coming loose as a result of vibrations. As a result, the hop will be more consistent and give you ore adjustment allowing for finer tuning for heavier BBs

The Gearbox

The gearbox is extremely well made. It resembles most mid-range AEGs in terms of the components it is built with. All guns in the Excalibur series come preinstalled with 8mm bearings, a 15 metal tooth piston, an enhanced tappet plate and the E&C spring change system. The Arthurian Airsoft Excalibur Offspring model comes with a thin MFT type stock. You can easily fit a 7.4v stick battery in the stock tube. To install the battery, simply pull the adjustment lever down and slide the stock off to gain access to the stock tube. There are 6 positions available to adjust the stock to, giving you plenty of choice for shooting configuration.
