New for 2022 in the Arthurian Airsoft Excalibur range is the Zealot. This rifle is based on the classic M4 model with an M203 grenade launcher attached to the outer barrel for using airsoft moscarts. The front end features a standard birdcage flash hider screwed onto a standard 14mm CCW thread. The front sight post is fixed to help secure the outer barrel and M203 grenade launcher. The handguard itself is only the top handguard which is the standard round design from standard M4 series rifles. the receiver features a carry handle/rear sight section which is attached to a 20mm RIS rail, perfect for mounting most airsoft red dot sights. If you pull the charging handle you will open the dust cover and lock back the false bolt. This will then allow you to adjust the hop unit. When done adjusting the hop unit you press the bolt release catch on the left side and it will release the false bolt. The stock is adjustable for different sizes and can be removed by undoing a castle knut to let you access the quick change spring system and easily change the spring when required. There is also a sling mounting plate at the rear of the receiver that allows you to easily attach a sling.

2021 Model

The 2021 models of the Excalibur range now feature an inbuilt MOSFET into the trigger board and a rotary hop unit. MOSFETs help protect the trigger contacts from being burnt out when using 7.4v or 11.1v LiPo batteries, increase the efficiency of the battery allowing for more shots per charge and increase the overall performance of the gearbox with a slight increase rate of fire and snappier trigger response. The rotary hop unit improves the stability of the hop and negates any chance of it coming loose as a result of vibrations. As a result, the hop will be more consistent and give you more adjustment allowing for finer tuning for heavier BBs.
