Features: Ported Barrel / Slide: The ported slide and barrel are designed to direct the hot blast gases upwards and in turn pushing the weapon's barrel downwards (assisting in recoil management) on the real steel - This has been replicated on this model. It features 2 CNC drilled chrome finish outer barrel ports, and a total of 8 ports on the slide. Micro Pro Sight Ready: The M&P9L features a slide cut out that allows the installation of the Tokyo Marui Micro Pro Sight (not included). The cut out has its own cover, held with 2 screws, that will cover the optic mount when not in use. The "iron sights" are extended sights which enable aiming with the sights even if the Micro Pro Sight is attached. Trigger Stop: Tokyo Marui replicated the trigger stop piece that allows the user to adjust the firing point of the trigger and shorten the trigger stroke. The shortened trigger stroke gives the user faster trigger control for rapid firing. The adjustment of the trigger stop is not functional on this replica. Ambidextrous Slide Stop & Thumb Safety: The M&P9L is a fully ambidextrous handgun (magazine catch can be reversed). Backstraps: 3 backstraps (S/M/L size) are included with the M&P9 and gives the operator's a more tailored grip depending on their hand size. 2 Safeties: The M&P9L has 2 different safeties, a built-in trigger safety as well as a conventional thumb safety. Under Rail: The 20mm Picatinny rail allows the installation of different accessories such as tactical lights and lasers. Diecast Magazine: The 25rds spare magazine is made out of diecast metal and is temperature resistant. It features a Performance Center type bumper plate (1 extra plate is included in the box)
