Light - Blue
The weakest of the four, but by no means without performance. Nimrod Light is made especially for plastic slide pistols, such as Tokyo Marui and other Japanese-spec airsoft handguns, which cannot sustain the use of high pressure gas over a prolonged period. Repeated blasts of powerful energy can lead to cracking in plastic slides, or other breakages to plastic internal parts.
Tokyo Marui pistols, like the G19 below, are known for their efficiency; their requirement for low-power gas is not to be mistaken for low performance!

Despite their renowned build quality, Japanese airsoft guns are required by law to be constructed with a certain fragility to powerful blasts of energy. This is to make them unusable for conversion to fire live ammunition, after alleged incidents of this being done by criminals in Japan.

Standard - Green
A true general-purpose gas, Nimrod Standard is ideal for hot weather in the summertime. On a scale of performance versus usability, Standard caters towards players looking for an airsoft gas that will keep their internals in check, long term, whilst providing enough power to reach towards site limits on hot days.

Superb for metal-slide sidearms, and generally ideal for indoor, CQB play where power output is not the be-all-end-all, and you'd be better suited to the preservation of your GBBR's internal condition.

Professional - Red
Some days, in some guns, anything average or less just won't cut it. Step up to Nimrod's Professional Red Gas, for the most sustainable high-performance gas on the market...just watch out for the FPS and Joule limits on hot days.

As GBBR users ourselves, we've all had days where our guns desperately needed an extra bit of kick due to cold weather. 'Red Gas' is the term often given to higher-performance gases, and they are essential to those who stick by their Gas Blowbacks in the winter time.

Extreme - Black
As the name suggests, this gas really pushes the boat out by squeezing every last drop of performance from a GBBR. But be warned, as the greater power output invokes greater internal ware, meaning Nimrod Extreme is only recommended when necessary, such as super-stubborn Gas DMR's.

A gas blowback DMR, such as the WE ACE VD Dragunov, requires a very powerful gas to reach a suitable performance level. We tested the ACE VD in particular, as our other gases were unable to overcome the stiffness of its hammer.
Nimrod Extreme allowed for a full magazines-worth of cycling, and continued to dry-fire successfully until the gas supply ran low, at which point a high concentration of pressure was unable to be provided by what was left in the tank.
