WADSN GEN ll Helmet Light (White/Red/Infrared) - Black

The Wadsn GEN ll Helmet Light is brilliant for close up work, such as map reading, cooking and CQB. Built from polymer and waterproof it will withstand any inclement weather you encounter. It comes with a mount for attaching it to the side of a MICH 2000 helmet and a rail mount for attaching it you a helmet or weapon rail. You can easily remove the light from either of its mounts by depressing the release lever and sliding it off. You can install the CR123A battery by unscrewing the cap on the battery compartment and inserting it, then closing it. On the cap is a thumbwheel that when turned will deactivate the torch fully and thus ensuring that it won't turn on at unwanted times. On the rear of the light are two switches. One switch will activate and deactivate the infrared IFF (identify friend or foe) LED which will blink and only be visible to people with night vision equipment. The second switch will switch between off, white LEDs and red LEDs. Once you have turned one of these sets of LEDs on you can then switch between brightness settings by pressing the rubberised button on the side of the light. The red LEDs are good for seeing without killing your night vision and reading. The white LEDs are good for illuminating a CQB area and for seeing easily whilst reading or cooking.
